# Quickstart

> Go from zero to a running Bourne agent in a minimal sequence.

Follow this path when you want the fastest successful first deployment.

## 1) Prepare one provider key

Choose one provider and create one API key:

* Anthropic
* OpenAI
* Gemini
* OpenRouter

Use a key with enough quota for validation and first conversations.

## 2) Open the dashboard

Sign in and start the deploy flow from the dashboard.

## 3) Complete preflight

Preflight validates:

* Provider key validity
* Model accessibility
* Channel credentials where required

Fix failing checks before you continue.

## 4) Deploy

Submit deployment and wait for the status to transition to live.

## 5) Send first message

Use your selected channel or in-app workflow to confirm the runtime responds.
