# Connect a channel

> Configure Telegram, Discord, or Slack channel connectivity for your agent.

Bourne supports three primary channels in the initial flow.

## Telegram

Telegram can use an official-bot flow without requiring a custom bot token in the default path.

## Discord

Provide a Discord bot token.

Optional: provide a guild/server ID to scope behavior.

## Slack

Provide a Slack bot token.

Optional: add an app token when using Socket Mode.

## Troubleshooting

* Invalid token: regenerate and retry.
* Access mismatch: verify bot permissions and channel/server placement.
* Preflight failure: fix the specific provider/channel check before deploying.
